Traffic on Second Street will be one way northbound only through the construction zone from Chestnut to Elm. The 4900 blocks of Palmetto and Beech will be closed at Second St. To access the 4800 block of Palmetto, use First St. or northbound only at Second St. Use Chestnut to Second St. to enter the 4800 block of Beech, and Second St. to Palmetto or Elm to exit. Access the 4900 blocks of Palmetto and Beech via South Rice or Third St. Detour signage will be provided. Please follow signage for the protection of the public and construction crews. There will be no garbage collection on Thursday and Friday, November 26-27, 2009 due to the Thanksgiving Day holidays. The normal garbage collection schedules will resume Monday, November 30, 2009.

Traffic to Sunburst will be detoured south on Newcastle to Fournace, west on Fournace to Avenue B, then north on Avenue B to Sunburst. Detour signage will be in place. The gate on Sunburst at Newcastle has been removed to provide access from Newcastle and will be replaced after the reconstruction of Sunburst is complete. The impacted areas are as follows: - 4500 Block of Sunburst - Avenue B, Fournace to Glenmont Traffic will be one way, westbound only through the construction zone on Sunburst from Newcastle to Avenue B. Avenue B traffic to Sunburst will be Detoured east at Fournace to Newcastle, then north to Sunburst. Detour signage will be in place.
